Pigeon Cottage, Ilsington, near Newton Abbot, TQ13 9RE
Directions
Take the A38 to Drumbridges Roundabout which is signposted for Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey, Heathfield, Liverton and Ilsington. Follow signs and take the exit towards Liverton. After coming off the roundabout take the first turning right, signposted Liverton / Ilsington. Drive through Liverton and as you approach Ilsington you meet a fork in the tiny road and can go either way but it is best to take the right hand fork. Carry on up the long hill into the village and look for the red telephone box, next to the school and opposite the church. There is no parking directly outside the cottage, but you can park by the church wall. The phone box marks the start of the path to the cottage so make your way along until you come to the thatched front porch entrance. |
Arriving for your appointment – As we are working from home there is no waiting room, so please do not arrive at the cottage more than 5 minutes early. When you arrive as a new patient for your initial appointment, we will come to the end of the path to welcome you in.
If you wish to make more of your visit to Ilsington or if you happen to arrive a little early, we can highly recommend our independent community run shop (go down the hill after the cottage past the school on your left and at the pub turn left and go towards the village hall) which sells local produce and gifts and also serves hot drinks. The Carpenter’s Arms in the centre of the village offers lunches and evening meals as well as coffee and a good tipple! If you would like to visit beautiful Dartmoor, take the road out of the village (signposted to Bovey Tracey) climbing upwards to Haytor which is about two miles away. Mail us: [email protected] |
‘I have never before experienced such an in-depth knowledge of the patient being gained, on the first visit, before advice or treatment offered.’ TT
