For over twenty years we were senior lecturers at the British School of Homoeopathy (later the South West College of Homoeopathic Medicine) and managed Exeter Natural Health Centre until October 2019. We are both passionate about the promotion of integrated health care and have many years of experience working as therapist, teacher and supervisor within both complementary medicine and mainstream environments. We are very committed to our work and will put a lot of energy into helping you to become well.
We have eight children between us and our large extended family is a rich source of loving experience that helps to keep us grounded. We have experienced some of the highs and lows of life ourselves and are often astonished by how we human beings find such a variety of ways to survive, then thrive.
Ali worked for 6 years as a Homoeopath and therapist at St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth both on the inpatient wards and in the outpatients department. She sees it as a huge privilege to work with those who are at the end of life and those who are working with their grief and need someone to walk alongside them for a little while on their journey. From her time at the hospice, she gained a sound knowledge of working with people with cancer and advanced disease including end of life care and bereavement work. Ali has lectured for several years in palliative care to therapists all over the UK and Ireland. To read more about Ali and her work click here
